Vacuum casting utilizes 3D printing or CNC processing to create prototype parts. A silicone mold is then made in a vacuum state, and materials such as PU, transparent PU, POM-like, and ABS are poured into the mold under vacuum conditions to replicate the prototype part accurately.
Vacuum casting is ideal for prototype production and small batch manufacturing. It is particularly cost-effective when compared to CNC processing for larger quantities. Customers often use vacuum casting to create prototypes for products that will eventually be produced in larger quantities, allowing them to reduce costs and save time.
